Entry’s are filling fast for Nelsons best Mountain Bike Race. If you haven’t put your entry in already, online entry is available for the Coppermine Epic and Enduro. Entries are again limited in 2009 so it will pay to get your entry in now . Race day is 21 March 2009.
The race offers two courses to cater for all riders abilities. The Enduro course is suited to the recreational racer who wants an achievable course which will test their fitness but is less technically challenging. The Epic course is for the mountain bike racer who wants to test their fitness and technical skills and enjoys the challenge of single track at its best.
Both courses take you into Nelsons best back country trail riding to explore the fantastic mineral belt. The views are spectacular and the trails are even better.The new Kennett Brothers “Classic New Zealand Mountain Bike Rides” book describes the Coppermine Enduro course as Simons favourite Nelson ride.
